Paint Rock @ Sun Valley 7/26

We can’t believe tomorrow is the last dual meet of the summer and we are excited to host it at Sun Valley!

We are asking parents to please keep the line-up handy (by swimmer or the list of all events)! You can access this e-mail on your phone, write your child’s events down on a sticky note, or bring a printed copy. We will post a copy at the pool also. When parents are aware of their child’s events and help them get to the end of the pool a few events ahead of their races it’s a huge help to the coaches and helps the swimmers feel more confident when they are in place and ready.

We are also looking for a few more volunteers to help us, including someone to enter swimmer times into the meet software (we will teach you —it’s very straightforward data entry). Can you help?

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Thank you so much for your support.

this area must be kept clear for EMS vehicles Snack Bar: The snack bar will be open! Cash or venmo accepted. Burgers and Hot Dogs cooked on the grill will be available starting at 3:30 pm. Vegetarians and others, we heard you. Grilled black bean burgers will also be available.

Swimming Up”: There are some kids “swimming up” tomorrow in order to accommodate stroke requests. For the most part, it’s the same length race, just different age groups (example 8 year old in 10 and under) because we will have limited heats. This is a common practice among all teams in our league and is not something to worry about. Please reassure your children and encourage them to have fun and do their best. We are proud of everyone.

Line-Up Notes: We have included two lists so you can choose to view by event or by swimmer. The "by swimmer" list is alphabetical by last name with the girls first on and the boys following. The numbers to the right of the swimmer name stand for heat and lane, i.e. 1/2 stands for Heat 1, Lane 2.
