Tennis Lessons

Our USPTR Tennis Pro Lindsay Wright will lead the clinics with the help of our tennis assistants. Programs are offered for kids (age 4.5+) and adults. Additionally we offer Cardio Tennis and four tennis tournaments for adults.

Private lessons with our tennis pro Lindsay continue to be available for tennis members ages 4 and up.  Our tennis assistant is available to hit balls with members age 13+ (must be able to keep a rally).

We expect it to be similar to the 2025 schedule that is included below for your reference.

2025 Group Tennis Lessons/Clinics
 

TUE. JUNE 24 - MON. AUGUST 4

$150/person for the 6 week session

tennis members only

registration opens April 2 at 10:00 am

​Children / Teens

  • Lv 1 Beginners (ages 4 ½ - 7): Mon, Wed, Fri: 10:15 - 11:00 am 

  • Lv 2 Intermediate (ages 8-11): Mon, Wed, Fri: 10:15 - 11:00 am OR 11:00 - 11:45 am *
    * Lv 2 players will be assigned to 10 am or 10:45 am class by instructor - assigned time will be confirmed by 6/1/25

  • Lv 3 Juniors/Advanced (ages 12+): Mon, Wed, Fri: 11:45 - 12:45 pm 
           includes match play   

    • Summer junior club ladder TBD depending on interest

Age exceptions for levels 1-3 may be made based on ability - determined by instructor on week 1. 
 

Adults

  • Mon, Wed, Fri 9:00 - 10:00 am  
    Some experience preferred. We suggest very beginners take a few private lessons prior to start of session.

ADULT ROUND ROBINS

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays 6 – 7:30 pm (w/ Lindsay)

  • Sundays 9 - 10:30 am (self run on courts 1 & 2)put the ball in play.

  • Must be able to serve and put the ball in play

  • There will be no charge for Adult Round Robins in 2026

  • Sign-up will be required and space is limited

Private Tennis Lessons & Ball Hitting
offered for tennis members only

PRIVATE TENNIS INSTRUCTION

Our tennis pro is a USPTR Certified Instructor and is available to teach private tennis lessons to Sun Valley tennis members. 

 

  • Rate: $65 per hour

Contact the pro directly to schedule. Private lesson fees are to be paid directly to the instructor.​

Guidelines for Private Lessons

​

  • You must schedule directly with the tennis pro. 

  • Private lessons available on
    Court 3 only - tennis pro will book the court.

  • All other tennis rules apply.

CANCELLATION POLICY for PRIVATE LESSONS

 

24-hour advance notice is required to cancel or rebook any private lesson.  If you cancel within 24 hours of your lesson, you will be responsible for paying the full lesson rate. Moving a reservation to a different time is considered a cancellation and rebooking. 

Tennis Racket

BALL HITTING

Our tennis assistant is available to hit balls with Sun Valley tennis members ages 13+. Player must be able to keep a rally. 

 

  • Rate: $35 per hour

Contact tennis assistant directly to schedule. Ball Hitting fees are to be paid directly to the tennis assistant.​

Guidelines for Ball Hitting

​

  • Schedule directly with the tennis assistant, clarify who will book court.

  • Ages 13+

  • Must be able to keep a rally.

  • Ball hitting available on any court, please use court 2 first if available.
