We have a few updates to share
Pool will be open all day Friday due to the high heat
The water filling station/fountain had to be taken off-site to complete repairs. We hope to have it back in service early next week.
Heat Wave Update
The heat continues Friday and we have the staff so we are adding morning swim hours to keep the pool open all day. The snack bar will be open after school tomorrow as well. Come join us to cool off!
Storm Policy:
If Thunder/Lightening is heard/seen at Sun Valley the lifeguards will clear/close the pool temporarily. The pool will re-open after there has been no thunder/lightening for 20 minutes. If storms persist we may close the pool for the remainder of the day and in this case an e-mail alert will be sent.
We are watching the forecast for Friday afternoon/evening. If the storms persist we may close the pool early for safety. We will e-mail everyone with as much notice as possible if the storms cause an early closure.

Water Fountain / Bottle Filler Temporarily Out of Order
Our water filling station is temporarily out of service due to a part being damaged over the winter. The plumber came today but unfortunately it required welding at higher temperatures and the entire unit had to be brought to a special shop to complete the repairs. We are working to get this back in service ASAP (hopefully early next week). In the meantime please bring your own water / beverages to stay hydrated or purchase a cool drink from the snack bar.
IMPORTANT: We have added cones to the area. Please keep back and do not tamper with the fixtures. Closely monitor children in this area.
